Hello, again, everyone! It's
Madmad, reporting for review consolidation duty. I am sad to report that
Finding Boddie did not do so well with our panel of reviewers. Unfortunately, the reviews were conducted before I had a chance to read the blog myself and weigh in.

Interestingly, what drew the most passion was the blog's design:
Holy Geometric Backgrounds! I now have a headache from reading tiny font over a geographic design.
I hate this layout. The brown, always a cheerful upbeat color, is littered with little geometric designs that take away from the
writing.
... can we talk about the color she elected to use for her smallish-font? Oy. How many times do I need to say it, kids? My eyes are growing older by the minute. If YOU want ME to read and/or enjoy your blog, make sure I can do so without the aid of a magnifying glass.
Finding Boddie was complimented several times on her writing, but most of the reviewers questioned the humor:
This is one of those blogs I wanted to like. Sometimes it was amusing, the photos of pets in odd places were okay, but much of it was dry and talky without bothering to tell much of a story or set up a joke.
The thing is, when I surf around her blog, there are little gems of humor, but they have to be hunted down like truffles in the wild. I don't have a trained pig, so I wish she'd make it easier.
Is this a humor blog? Seems to me it's a run down of unfunny stuff that happened to the author with the occasional funny comment thrown in.
I don't find all humor blogs funny, but with most I can at least see that the author is trying to be funny -- not so here.
It just bugs me that I don't see any humor writing going on here.
This could be an off day for me, but I just didn't really "get it." This blog didn't seem very funny.
Of course, humor is subjective and you can't please everyone, but I think her overall score suffered from a lack of reviewers, most of whom appeared to be new to the site. Finding Boddie might appeal more to readers looking for a relationship with the writer, and not just a quickie laugh. Kate is more like the funny friend you like to hang out with than a stand-up comedian whipping out jokes.
