Diesel Hi, my name's Diesel. I run this site. I started it as a lark, because all of the other humor blog directories I found sucked. Anyway, my own humor blog is Mattress Police - Antisocial Commentary. It's listed over there on the upper right. That's what's known in the biz as a "conflict of interest." Deal with it.

See Mike Draw

We have a winner.

Mike is a damned good cartoonist, and that's all there is to it. Discovering blogs like this is what this site is all about.

Some quotes from folks who share my opinion:
I admire anyone who can come up with art work AND jokes at the same time.

Great cartoons! Several times I laughed out loud.

I liked this site. Witty, funny, and a little naughty.

Yeah -- I totally loveloveLOVED this blog. I noticed it "creeping" up the Humor-blogs side bar last week, and so was forced to check out the competition, and, I'm pleased to say I was NOT disappointed. Very Original and Clever. And Funny... Very Funny!

High points for originality. Newspaper cartoons basically suck these days, so it's nice to see Mike is able to carry the torch from previous greats like Watterson and Larson. Not that he's in their league yet, mind you, but by comparison to what's being published these days he seems like he's that talented. The Cookie Monster cartoon absolutely killed me. Cartoons can be very hit and miss, what I like about SMD is that he has significantly more hits.

A blog containing nothing but original cartoons? And they're funny? I am totally on board for this. Eat your heart out New Yorker, there's some comedic gold at work on this guy's website.

Oh man, I loved this. I'm so glad I had to review it because maybe i would never have found it otherwise. The site is nice and simple, and maybe it's because I'm an illustrator myself but I think the idea of a cartoon blog is great. Especially because I found the cartoons to be nicely drawn, neat, and very funny. Ummmmm....no I really don't have any constructive criticism. It was a great blog.

Really funny cartoons! This guy might actually be employable. Doesn't post as often as a lot of writing bloggers, but his work is professional looking and I like his twisted sense of humor.
I'll be going back to this one. Mind you, I still like the written word better, but this one's pretty good.

These short comics are absolutely hilarious. The only reason I gave this a low score for "writing" is because it is, in all fairness, a comic blog with a load of images as opposed to writing. Having said that, it is well laid out and easy to navigate. The humor is top notch and yes, I'll definately be returning.

The best cartoon is the Pinnochio, 'please don't fist me' caroon. Classic!

Another blog that I have added to my feed. I love "simple" layouts on blogs so a big plus for that. Your cartoons are hilarious and just as demented as I am! I love them all! I'm definitely coming back for more on this one!

Nice blog. Love the comics and I'd love to see them in my local newspaper.

Warning: Do NOT read this blog is you are recovering from the stomach flu, as it may cause recurrences of vomiting from excessive laughter. Otherwise, read this bloody hilarious blog on a daily basis!

Funny Funny Funny.
Snapshot Funny.

Hilarity in a nanosecond, goldfish would piss themselves at this.

Love it.

Little. Yellow. Different. I like it a lot.
And a few from people who are apparently on drugs or still getting over breaking up with Kid Rock. Maybe both.
Funny but creeped me out with some of the R rated cartoons. Just didn't need it in my day.

I'm not really a fan of picture blogs. Or cartoons. But this blog isn't awful, and when the author does write, its quite funny.

Man, I wanted to like this...

Very hard medium to make funny - two or three panels is an awfully tight space to birth a joke.

Unfortunately, it seemed too hard for our author. The material just didn't work for me.

Nothing too funny really, resorting to boner jokes is kind of a cop out in my opinion.
...Demonstrating that even if you write and draw 100% original cartoons that are funnier than B.C. or Blondie has been in 20 years, you're still not going to break 75 with our reviewers.

Great stuff, Mike. Keep it up. Remember us when you're famous.

I figured if anyone was going to break the 70 point barrier, it was going to be See Mike Draw, especially for that Fairy Godmother comic.

(approaches the podium) I'd like to thank my girlfriend, who never thinks my stuff is funny, and who I'm always trying to prove wrong.

Thanks heaps everyone for the positive comments - I really appreciate it.

Yes, yes.....A THOUSAND TIMES YESSSSS!

That blog is locked away in my secrety little "guilty pleasures" file. Very good stuff.

The very oddball comic LIO is a family favorite at the Infidel house. Mike's are the same brand of twistedness that we love.

I like to read Mike's blog every few weeks or so because I find myself craving more if it's just one new comic strip per visit. They are that good.

Keep up the great work Mike.
