I'll go on record as saying that I like QoD. Sure, a lot of it is standard family blogging stuff, but I think she's aware of that and she has fun with it. She has a clever, self-deprecating style that I find more enjoyable than many writers who try very hard to be funny.
Our reviewers' opinions were mixed, but the overall impression was positive.

I don't know what I like about her -- there's a funny anecdote in there, I just can't find it. Poor site design, and overly typical "angst-y" wife content left me flat.
It's not the content so much as the writing, the voice, that turned me off. It was like a Carrie whatshername from Sex in the City minus the relationship advice with adding bitching. I'm not a big fan of griping blogs only because they tend to get old quickly, especially if the posts remain in constant gripe. What can I say? It's not my type of haha blog.
A droll turn of phrase. The Queen Herself admits that she perhaps overdoes it on the mommy stuff.
This would have got a higher score, if it wasn't for the generic (and often annoying) Blogger css layout. Because that aside, this is a very amusing blog.
Although I did not find this blog particularly funny, I do plan on reading it regularly & have bookmarked it for future reading for her insightful posts.
I love diary blogs. At least there aren't any lolcat pics. Wait are there?
Totally adding her to my blogroll. She's hysterical, her ideas on motherhood mirror my own and to top it all off, she's really hot. Which has nothing to do with her being funny, but it makes me want to really hate her. And if any of the other reviewers claim she can't be funny because she's a mom, well, I'll just have to clobber them to death with my brownie spatula. This girl, is funny.
I will read it if I run into it but I won't go searching for it.
The blog gives an idea about the life and times of the author and that too in a humorous way. My only crib is about the use of a little profanity but that's just me.
The blog layout is good and simple but the widgets seem to run into one another (Esp. the profile and Archive widgets)
The blog is well-written, and amusing at times, but not particularly funny.
So there were a few gripes about the layout, but I get the impression that the reviewers who complained about the layout probably weren't really into the blog anyway. If you're looking for hysterical writing, this blog may not be the place to be, but QoD provides a reliable stream of witty commentary.
