Diesel Hi, my name's Diesel. I run this site. I started it as a lark, because all of the other humor blog directories I found sucked. Anyway, my own humor blog is Mattress Police - Antisocial Commentary. It's listed over there on the upper right. That's what's known in the biz as a "conflict of interest." Deal with it.

Pointless Drivel

Pointless Drivel tied The Reasonable Ego for the top score so far. Pointless Drivel seems to be one of those blogs that people love or hate. Most of our reviewers loved it, but there were enough haters to keep Mr. Fabulous from running away with the Humor-Blogs crown.

Some quotes from our reviewers:
I liked the naughty and irreverent style of humor. That's appealing to me. The line about "Chocolate Chip Super Chunk Spunk Cookies" was a classic! Way too much yellow. Sidebar is pretty cluttered too. Design a "links" page for all that crap or find out how to make it show/hide. One thing I hate, hate, HATED was the referring to himself in the third person.

Overall, it was decent. I might return once every week or two, but I'm not planning on adding it to my blogroll or feed subscriptions. It's possible it will grow on me though.

I LOVE THE CLAY CHARACTERS! BRILLIANT STUFF!

I'm easily amused, or Mr. Fab is a darn talented blogger/humor writer. Interesting and engaging template, good writing involving a lot of good, old-fashioned self-deprecation (always a favorite!), I'm sold! Mr. Fab is... FAB.

Definitely amusing, although the consistency leaves something to be desired, as it's only funny in spots.

I'm not a fan of writers who 'go dirty' when they need a punchline. While I think that this writer is guilty of this, he's still pretty funny. The design of the site is one of my favorites, and even if he goes blue for no good reason, the writing is still quite good.

Would not read regularly because all the genital jokes get pretty tiresome.

This blog is just hilarious. He does a great job writing, talking to his readers, knows his audience and the design is flawless.

I really, really enjoyed this blog. The sense of humor fits well with my own. It isn't for kids, but it is hilarious. I do think the recent commenters (scores? on the sidebar) is annoying, but other than that, great blog.

The design is original and great to look at. I give the blog author a few points for actually living up to his blog's name ... it is pointless drivel and I mean that in the worst way possible.

Oh, how I love Mr. Fabulous. The best 'inappropriate' blog out there in my feeder. He always makes me laugh.

Much as I wanted to hate this blog, due to it being much more popular than mine, I found it hilarious. Damn.

"Way back when" I used to read PD nearly daily. And then the ads started coming. Then the pay per posts. Then the YouTube videos and overall attention whoring. I enjoyed PD a lot more "Way Back When" he didn't post every day. The posts were more entertaining, and somewhat more concise. Now it just seems he's spreading himself too thin.

Funny in a sort of white male student at a big-10 university way. Not that that's a bad thing, but jokes about beating off might not be to everyone's taste. But I liked it.

It just isn't funny.
So there you have it. If you like your humor a little on the crude side (and I have to admit that I find myself giggling like a schoolgirl at a lot of Mr. Fabulous' posts), the odds are that you're going to enjoy Pointless Drivel. Good job, Mr. Fabulous.

Aha! The missing sibling in the "illegitimate kids of Bob Dole" trio!

Mr. Fab may now join Bossy and Billy. What a joyous family reunion that will be.

I'd love to listen to the three of them having a conversation, all speaking in the 3rd person.

Oh and for the record, I am NOT the reviewer who said they hated the whole 3rd person narrative thing in this review.

I don't think I talk in the third person all that much, do I?

And there are no PPP ads on Pointless Drivel. Someone is smoking crack.

Which is fine, if that's what you enjoy.
