A few reviewers were a little confused regarding what exactly this blog was all about, and Ploop got dinged for the boring template and inconsistent posting schedule. Most of the reviewers seemed to like the graphs more than the commentary.

I read a few posts and the sidebar contents, but I still wasn't sure what the derivation of the name was. My brain senses all those formulae and thinks "This is not funny! This is homework!"
Been reading this for a few months now and it reminds me very much of the comic strip, xkcd. Weird and extremely creative at times.
I liked the concept of the graphs, but I felt that the jokes themselves were hit-or-miss. Also, the graphs themselves looked like they were written on a cocktail napkin and were sometimes difficult to read.
Did this blog or the "Indexed" one come first? There's a little more substance here than just the graphs...and the writing itself is pretty funny as well.
Good job, Ploop. If you can stick to a more regular posting schedule and maybe find someone a little more right-brained to design a new template for you, you should go far.
