Most of the reviewers -- including several who liked the blog -- noted that Zeitgeist's Zone didn't qualify as a humor blog. As one reviewer commented, "I'm confused. I mean, this is a very lovely blog, written by someone who is clearly intelligent and thoughtful -- maybe even spiritual, but funny? Uh, no." Many of the reviewers also remarked on the fact that this blog doesn't seem to have been updated since April. A couple also commented that they disliked the template.
A few representative comments:
"I was reading The Legend of Ennui but I got bored."
"Nice poetry."
"This is not a humor blog, but a spiritual one. This is fine and dandy, but why is it even on this list unless the joke is that it's a satire of new age which I doubt. He has himself listed in 'literature' on BlogTopSites. And that is the worst template Blogger has. Ugh. On a positive note, he's a decent writer."
"It's hard to tell what the author is aiming for, but it seems to be more philosophical than funny.
No posts since April 1st? Heck of an April's Fool's joke. The writing is good, but it's just not my cup of tea. And who knows if he'll ever return, anyway?"
"I don't know why I liked it, I just did."
"I am unsure what this blog is doing on Humor Blogs, as there are few if any ha-ha moments to be found. That said, the bizarre crap to be found here is fascinating. I'll click it again. Even though I normally hate poem blogs."
"I didn't find this blog funny - ha ha. I found it funny - odd. I would definitely read this blog on a regular basis, if only for a good think. Design is nice, writing is excellent, IMHO, but I didn't find it humorous. Great blog, though."
Sorry about that, Monojoy. I bet you'd do better on something like spiritual-blogs.com or poetry-blogs.com though. If you're even still around....
